Pandit Roop Chand Joshi (18 January 1898 24 December 1982) was an Indian author who is noted for having written currently available versions of Lal Kitab, a collection of books on Vedic science of astrology and palmistry. Lal Kitab has no connection with vedas. Its origin is not 100 % confirmed but many people believe that Ravan ( of the epic Ramayan fame ) is its original                    author. The language ( words, spirit and sentence pattern ) is also very odd and alien whether you read it in Hindi or English. It is very difficult to understand          and follow the real intended meaning and sense.
